A lovely weekend in Bloomington

This weekend I had no plans and I couldn't have been happier about it. I don't even know when was the last time I had a free weekend. John was planning on spending most of his weekend at the Indy 500 track watching time trials and I was content staying in Bloomington. When we talked about our plans for the weekend John said, "I think you will enjoy your weekend of solitude." I said, "Uhh, I think I might still interact with people and leave the house." But I think he meant a weekend of relaxation and no plans. Saturday I spent the day at the Farmer's Market and met up with Miranda, a friend from work. I bought some flowers and great goat cheese. Miranda splurged on some kettle corn popcorn, goat cheese, and honey. We went back to her downtown apartment, grabbed some lunch, and tried our cheeses. Today I got up and checked out a local church that I have been curious about and did some things around the apartment. I even got an unplanned nap in and it was wonderful. :) It was really nice to spend the weekend enjoying the little things that make Bloomington so great.

Enjoy my photos from the Farmer's Market and my new flowers!
