Chicago Weekend Summarized with Photos

Yeah, so since I don't really do 4am-ers (5am my time) anymore, I am recuperating from my very fun weekend in Chicago. It has been five years since my study abroad program ended in Florence, Italy and my study abroad friends and I decided to plan a reunion. It was an action-packed, fun-filled weekend! We definitely felt older because I don't know how many times I heard, "I really don't go out like this anymore." Times have changes since we were 20 and 21 in Firenze, living it up! But that still doesn't mean we don't know how to have a good time...it just takes longer to recuperate. I have to admit being at work today was pretty rough, I was totally exhausted. Anyway, after five years apart, friends flew in from Seattle, Boston, NY, and Philly all to meet up for the much needed reunion. Documented below are our evenings out, a great Italian dinner, an architecture boat tour, and Wrigleyville. I hope you enjoy the photos, possibly more to come...

I am sure Bridget said, "I don't really do this anymore" after she put the pitcher down.

Baby Love

This weekend Carolyn and I threw Keenan and Baby Farrar a baby shower! It was so fun to celebrate the baby to-be and see all the teensy-weensy clothes and baby accessories. It was wonderful to be around all the ladies, quite a few who had some sound advice for Keenan. We played a few fun games, enjoyed some delicious food, and ogled over the most extravagant baby shower cake known to man. It was delicious too!

Before party time, Keenan showed me her baby bump and it was such an beautiful thing to see. It was my first time to see a baby move and feel it kick. What an amazing experience. I know I will never forget it. We have to wait until September for Baby Farrar to be born, but I know he will be well worth the wait!

Molly tested out Baby Farrar's new stuff and she definitely put her stamp of approval on this one!

Mother and son in matching outfits. So funny! John said, "Well, if I knew my mom and I would be wearing the same outfit today, I would not have put it on." Haha.

Photos from Horseback Riding

Sorry, there aren't really any great pictures from our horseback riding adventure. It is tough to ride horses and take pictures, plus mine took a b-line for the food immediately when we returned, so I didn't get a good picture with him.
