Exception to Every Rule

Most parents would not let their children sit on some strange, unfamiliar, old and hairy man. And it sounds like it couldn't get any worse, but this happens at the mall. The whole idea sounds pretty creepy. I can picture a news anchor starting her story saying, "Tonight we are looking for a round man with a white beard who beckons children to sit on his lap at the mall. As you do your shopping, keep your children close." But luckily there is no creepy man lurking at the mall - it is Santa Claus! It is the one day when parents push their kids on a stranger's lap and tell them to smile as the parents back away at least 10 feet. Cameras flash, elves bustle about, parents get really excited and year after year kids FREAK! I think the following pictures are hilarious. I don't remember crying or being scared of Santa. I was probably too excited yapping away about how my teddy bear needs new clothes. Anyway, here are the kids that actually listen when their parents say stay away from strangers!

Where did you get these pictures?!? Absolutely hilarious--especially love the second one where the baby is reaching out desperately to be rescued by mom or dad! Also funny how almost all the Santas seem completely unphased by the sobbing and screaming. Thanks, Whitney! Got a good laugh from this one!

Glad you enjoyed them! I received the pictures via email. I guess it is a new forward people are sending around. I like to look at them when I need a good laugh!

I guess Santa is intimidating. But then again, kids are loud and annoying. I was never scared. My kids will be cool with Santa.
